The Story
Came out from the bedding area about 15 minutes before dark chasing a doe into the food plot. He worked a couple of scrapes and then walked after the doe in the woods. I pulled out the Primos grunt call and he came back to the food plot. He worked another scrape and ate a little clover. I grunted at him a few more times and he walked straight to a big pin oak next to me that had a fresh scrape. He walked to 19 yds broadside and dropped the hammer. He ran about thirty yards and piled up. Best part is that a local archery shop told me that my Bear would never be as good as a Mathews. This is my first year hunting. I have already whacked a big doe and now this buck. Mathews who? Bear attack baby!
