It was the morning of November 7th, 2011. I was sitting in my tree stand on the edge of a CRP field when this nine point buck came through the woods behind me and spotted my deer decoy I had set in the field. Once he spotted my decoy he had one thing on his mind, as he approached the decoy he gave me a perfect quatering away 15 yard shot. After my shot my dad, husband, and I tracked for 120 yards where we found him piled up. This was very exciting, because this was my first deer with a bow. What even made this more special is that my dad and husband were there to experience this with me.
