I watched 6 cows and a bull bed down, then was able to sneak to within 75 yards. I watched and waited for about two hours hoping the bull would move in closer as he often got up to chase a cow around. Later they all got up from their beds and headed toward a creek for an afternoon drink. I followed over a ridge and downwind. The bull sighted me, but did not bust. He moved farther away as a few cows fed slowly past at about 50 yards. I was able to arrow a cow and will have a freezer full of meat for the winter.
