I stocked this buck from above to 39 yards. The shot was a fairly downward shot. The shot was a little low than what I wanted. After trailing him until midnight, I backed out and came back the next morning. I found him in a bed still alive. It took 2 more shots to finish him off. I waited till my son got out of school to help dad pack him out.
