It was my second year hunting turkeys and the first turkey I harvested. I wanted to harvest the bird with a bow. They were not responsive to calls as they were with hens. I set up in an ambush situation and a nice Tom came in behind some hens. I misjudged my yardage on the first shot using my 20 yard pin on a 30 yard shot and put the arrow between his legs. My fault, not the bow's. I thought the hunt was over but the bird went uphill and stopped behind a downed tree. All I could see was neck and head and decided it was either a clean miss or a sure kill. I put my 30 yard pin on his head, relaxed and squeazed the release just like I had practiced and the bird expired instantly. My Instinct is awsome. Thanks
