Nothing sums it up better than "Big Sky Country!" - that's exactly what Montana means to me and my family. I was born and raised in this great state, and grew up enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. My dad was an avid hunter, archery and rifle alike, and instilled the passion in me. These photos are on a Black Bear hunt my husband and I embarked upon in April of 2006. We were hunting up Squaw Creek, about 50 miles north of Yellowstone National Park, in the Gallatin Canyon. And, although I did't get the opportunity to take a bear on this adventure, it's still a memory that will last forever. I truly love being in my Bear Country!
